Osaka Marathon is all about celebration and diversity, and is proud of his nickname of Rainbow Marathon.
The course certified by the Japan Association of Athletics Federations (JAAF) and by the Association of International Marathons and Distance Races (AIMS).
And we will celebrate its ninth year this year, will change its course to finish at Osaka Castle Park. A so-called "central finish" will improve traffic conditions, also allow participants to enjoy many sightseeing locations around Osaka during the autumn season (Ginkgo trees will be very beautiful with autumn leaves at that time).
The 42.195km long course will be full of fun, such as food stations providing local Osaka cuisine as you run, as well as tons of passionate cheering from 1.3 million supporters!
In addition, Osaka marathon will hold many related events. Especially, "Happy Morning Run" is popular as a fun run event that 1,000 runners from various countries run while watching Osaka Castle for the purpose of international exchange. This "Happy Morning Run" will be held the day before the main tournament.
