Get started a marathon with My ASICS!
My ASICS is a free service for runners. You can create a custom training plan, keep a logbook and analyse your performance. Whether you're looking to improve your marathon time or just starting to train for your first race, My ASICS will help you achieve your running goals.
At the heart of My ASICS is a suite of training programs that you can fully customise to meet your needs. My ASICS currently offers plans for marathon, half marathon, 10km and 5km distances.
Each plan consists of a number of phases working towards your goal. And each phase contains a mix of different training types, such as jogging, interval and race-pace running. Rest is also an integral part of the training plans. The training plans have been developed by the ASICS Institute of Sport Science in Kobe, Japan.
The more you use My ASICS, and the more runs you log, the better you will be able to analyse your own running performance. My ASICS offers insightful graphs to analyse every aspect of your running, including distance, pace and time for each of your routes and training types.
A great way to keep track of how you improve as a runner is to keep a running logbook. My ASICS offers an intuitive logging tool that integrates with your training plan. This way you can keep a detailed history of your running, and analyse your own performance.
In your logbook you can also: :

Exercises for Runners
Building more strength and creating flexibility where you need it is an important factor in becoming a better runner. It can also help to prevent injuries. My ASICS offers a comprehensive collection of stretching and strength exercise videos. The exercises are integrated in the training plans, with new exercises for each phase of your plan.
